Stuer-Egghe finalist for SME of the Year

We are very proud to announce that Stuer-Egghe has been selected as a finalist for East Flanders SME of the Year 2026.

Together with Tifre from Sint-Niklaas and Lohisse from Buggenhout, we are one of the three finalists competing for this year’s title. SME of the Year is an initiative by UNIZO and its partners, aimed at putting strong Flemish SMEs in the spotlight and recognising the important role they play in our economy.

Recognition for our entire team

For us, this finalist nomination is a wonderful recognition of the journey we have made as a company, but above all of the people who contribute to it every single day.

At Stuer-Egghe, our employees show commitment, flexibility and craftsmanship day after day. From our colleagues on the road and in the workshop to sales, administration, planning and everyone working behind the scenes, every team member contributes in their own way to where we are today.

We would therefore like to expressly thank our entire team for their daily dedication and commitment. This nomination is an achievement we have accomplished together and one we can all be proud of.

What is UNIZO?

UNIZO is the organisation representing self-employed entrepreneurs and SMEs in Flanders and Brussels. It represents self-employed professionals, SME owners and liberal professions, and defends their interests at various policy levels.

UNIZO also supports entrepreneurs through advice, guidance, training and an extensive business network.

Through the SME of the Year competition, UNIZO aims to promote entrepreneurship and recognise companies that distinguish themselves in various areas. An expert jury assesses the candidates on criteria including financial policy, innovation, marketing and communication, digitalisation, HR policy, sustainability and entrepreneurship.

Looking ahead to 15 October

The East Flanders SME of the Year award ceremony will take place on 15 October. On that day, we will find out which company will be named East Flanders SME of the Year 2026.

Naturally, we are hoping for a great result, but being selected as a finalist is already something everyone at Stuer-Egghe can be extremely proud of. It is recognition of the entrepreneurship we have demonstrated over the years and, above all, of the commitment of everyone who helps build our company every day.

We are therefore looking forward to 15 October with great pride and a healthy dose of excitement.
